The youth will be selling cases of Sun Drop for $14.50 from now through the last Sunday in April to help cover the cost of registration for this year's Summer Camp at Mrytle Beach! All money raised will support the group as a whole. Please see any member of the Youth Group or Justin Curry.

The students will be doing a canned food drive for the backpack program and selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts on April 12th at the Kannapolis Sam's Club and the Concord Walmart to raise support for this year's Summer Retreat. We will be meeting at the church at 8:30 am and will be selling dough nuts into the afternoon until we sell out! Any students planning to attend the retreat are expected to be present at the fundraiser to recieve financial assistance.

The Pathways Ladies group and the DV8 students are partnering together to do a Hamburger Hot Dog Luncheon on Sunday, April 27th after morning worship. Students are asked to bring a desert and help serve. The proceeds of the luncheon will help cover the cost of the Students Ministry Summer Retreat this year. Come join us for Fellowship and support these students as we prepare for a retreat that we hope will have a significant spirtual impact on the lives of the students that attend!

It’s that time of year again to start talk-ing about Summer! This year we are changing things up in a BIG way… our Summer Retreat will be a trip to Myrtle Beach with an organization called "Student Life"! We will be hearing from Pastor David Platt, author of the book "Radical" and the pastor of Brook Hills Church in Burmingham, AL twice a day, as well as worship with Kristian Stanfill and the Passion praise band! Now, the cost for the trip is $250 per student but don't let that scare you because we are planning several fundraisers and if your student participates we will count the money raised to your cost! Our goal is to be able to bring the cost down to $150 per student if we can raise enough! We are so excited about this new opportunity and hope that all the students will join us on this trip.

We are asking our church family to prayerfully consider giving a love offer-ing to help students who need more financial assistance than others to at-tend Summer Camp this year. If you would like to give a love offering to pro-vide a scholarship, please contact Jus-tin Curry so that we can keep track of what has come in.
