Kerr Memorial Baptist Church would like to take this opportunity to invite you to be our guest and encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities for worship, fellowship and ministry that are available for all age groups. The mission of Kerr Memorial Baptist Church is to lead individuals to become disciples of Jesus Christ. With Scripture as our authority and love as our motivation, we are to teach individuals to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, leading them to lifestyles of ministry and evangelism. We all have a story. It is our hope that through our ministry the story of the gospel will intersect the lives of those in our community and become the motivation for new life and eternal hope. Come join us as we fulfill our mission by:
We enjoyed a wonderful celebration of our Lord’s resurrection which we call Easter. Thank you choir, accompanists, and Paul Shepard for leading us in our celebration. Thank you men who prepared breakfast for us. Thank you Baptismal Team for preparing for our baptisms. Most often after Easter is past, we move on with activities for spring. After the first Easter, Jesus was busy with the ministry of showing his disciples that he had risen from the dead and was alive. 1 Corinthians 15:5-8 shares about some of the appearances Jesus made after his resurrection. Jesus wanted to make sure that those who followed him knew that he had won the victory over sin and death. Time and time again Jesus showed himself to people, proving to them that he was alive. Once he even appeared to a group of over 500 people. How has Jesus proven himself to be alive and real in your life? Has he changed you? Has he answered your prayers in clear unmistakable ways? Have you sensed his guidance? Has he provided for your needs? Do you have a sense the presence of the Holy Spirit within you? I hope you can answer “yes” to these questions, and I hope you possess a firm confidence that Jesus is in your life.
