Email JustinJustin Curry, along with his wife Candace joined KMBC as the Minister to Families in January of 2011. His passion and driving force in ministering to our church is to see children and students changed by the love and mercy of God through the message of the grace and forgiveness that was made available through His son Jesus Christ. While growing up in Seagrove, NC God used the student ministry Justin was a part of to lead him toward vocational student ministry. While following in obedience God opened doors to receive an education in Religious Studies with a special emphasis on youth ministry at Liberty University. God then allowed Justin to pursue a deeper education into the study and teaching of God's word as he received his Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Justin is excited for the opportunity to teach, organize, and advise the various programs and events that make up our family ministries at KMBC, and strives to do so to honor and glorify God the Father.
Justin and Candace married in July of 2007. He considers her an asset to his ministry. They are expecting their first child in November 2011.
Justin attempts to live his life based on Romans 12:1-2, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." and has made that the vision for our students as well.
